In an effort to raise awareness for molecular imaging and its clinical utility, the AMI is sponsoring a new educational web-based lecture series on Positron Emission Tomography (PET) entitled "Molecular Imaging for Impact". These webcasts are designed for imagers as well as for referring physicians. Each webcast will cover a unique topic - everything from current trends in lung nodule staging to new indications for oncologic imaging and emerging practices in the evaluation of coronary artery disease. These programs will begin this
month and will continue through 2009.
Be sure to inform your clinician colleagues about this educational series and book your calendars for the inaugural live webcast on August 11th. The first lecture is entitled "PET/CT Imaging in Esophageal Cancer" on August 11th at 1:00 pm Eastern Time. Our speaker is Steve Larson, MD, of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Anyone is welcome to join the webcast and there is no charge to attend. For more information and to register click on the following link: http://www.ami-imaging.org/pdf/esophageal_flyer.pdf
We at AMI are pleased to be able to offer this educational resource. Please look for additional webcasts scheduled for the future. Thank you for your participation!
